Description

The P5 is a single phase welding control. It utilises the latest in Large Scale Integration (LSI) digital circuitry. The heart of the P5 is a Motorola Micro Controller, running at an operating speed of four million cycles per second. The Micro Controller is capable of thousands of decisions in a fraction of a second. The entire control has been kept under 60 cubic inches in volume which includes solid state Relays and power transformer.

The P5 programs just like its big brother the "P280". However, it has been designed to be simpler and less exspensive. The P5 welding control is perfect for small machines, firing either SCRs or Ignitron Tubes, that do not require multiple impulses or sloping power curves.
